What should I expect at a session?
It's recommended to arrive at the studio 10 min early for your child to get settled. There will be consecutive appointments back to back. It's important to be cognizant of time.
Expect a relaxed environment where your child will feel like they are at home. Sessions will be 10-15 minutes in duration. Your child can bring something familiar with them if they like to help them warm up during the session.
These photos are meant to be black and white, timeless portraits show casing your child's unique personality and candid expressions.
How should I dress my child for B&W Photos?
Wear timeless articles of clothing. If you need some tips you can use google or refer to my photo gallery.
It's recommended to wear contrasting colors that are opposite of your child's natural skin. This will prevent the skin tone from being "washed" out. These photos are head shots and taken from the waist up, so bottoms are not as important. Patterns or graphic designs are not recommended. Try to stay away from solid black (lint and pet hair, etc is more likely to appear in the photo).

Light Skin Tone: deep purple, ruby red, mustard yellow, dull orange, navy, green, blue jean, heather light colors
Dark Skin Tones: beige, tones, pink, yellow, blue jean, light blue, gray, heather dark colors
How long is the turn around time for the photos?
Expect your photos to be sent via email within 1-2 weeks of your session date. You will receive a digital album with a download PIN to access the photos onto your personal device. The digital album does expire, so make sure you download the photos as soon as possible.
What if my child has special needs/accommodations?
I will take each client on a case by case basis. There may be additional time needed for the photo session. We will figure that out once the appointment is made. As a physical therapist, I am confident working with this specific population. I know that we can work together to get some amazing photos.
Do you photograph Adults?
Yes, I can do this same style of photography for anyone at any age! Small Fries or Seasoned Fries...All are WELCOMED. These photos are great to update your profile pic on social media, for professional accounts, for personal business use, or personal reasons.
Do you travel?
When there is a demand of clients in a specific city or area, I will consider doing a pop-up studio locations in-state and out-of-state. Spread the word! I would love to have a location closer to you.
I also travel throughout Chicago/Chicagoland locations for outdoor family photoshoots.
What are your forms of payment?
You can pay with Cash, Credit Card, or Zelle.
